Lightroom classic macbook9/16/2023 ![]() I know I've lost a handful of files (not worried about it), but need someone that can understand what I'm trying to ask.Īdobe support has been useless as there is a language barrier and on top of that an annoying layer of scripted customer service crap I don't have the patience for. I just need everything to sync correctly. So I have all the smart previews with edits on the cloud, but none of the originals on the new Mac. So I just need to get them in a place where Lightroom recognizes them as the originals. A maxed-out configuration with 8-core CPU / 8-core GPU, 16 GB RAM and 2 TB SSD storage retails for 2049. Luckily, most of what I shot between Jan 24 and March 8 is still on my SD cards. Let’s start out with the basic specifications of the Apple MacBook Air M1: The most basic configuration priced at 999 comes with an 8-core CPU / 7-core GPU processor, 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB PCIe NVMe SSD storage. On top of that I have everything syncing in the cloud, except, of course, Lightroom Classic doesn't sync full resolution images to the cloud. The issue is this catalog is over a month old (my last backup), the computer being replaced has an unsalvageable SSD (unless I want to pay hundreds or thousands of dollars to recover it) so I am unable to get anything I uploaded from Jan 24th until the present. I'll do my best to convey my message below. ![]() ![]() Is anyone a Lightroom Classic savant that would be willing to lend me 15 min of their time so I can discuss issues I'm having migrating a catalog to a new computer. ![]()
